Anita P. Latin is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry degree from American Baptist Seminary of the West. She graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary in June 2011 with a Masters in Theology; graduated from University of Phoenix in September 2006 with a B.S. in Business Administration; and graduated from San Francisco City College with an A.S. in Secretarial Training. She is the owner of A Neat Design, a word processing/desktop publishing home-based business. And she is the founder of ALB Ministry.
As a Youth Director in her local church, she was in charge of giving direction and presenting materials to the Youth workers for their various age groups. She introduced several outreach projects for the youth to do for the year, such as gathering items to take to the Ronald McDonald House, adopting children at Christmas through the Edgewood Children’s Center, donating gifts to the Hamilton House for Christmas, as well as preparing Valentine’s Day baskets to take to the sick and shut in members of her church. She also formed a Young Adult Women’s ministry called “OPAL” – Obedient, Pure, and Abundant Living. She is very adamant about motivating women to move from where they are to where they want to be in life. She continuously endeavors to challenge and inspire them to change their current situation — that might mean returning to school, seeking employment, strengthening their spirituality and their relationships with their family and fellowman, as well as being committed and faithful to their dream.
Anita is a sought-after minister, speaker and teacher in the religious sector for various workshops and conferences throughout the State of California. She is a singer, musician and songwriter, and poet as well as a published author. She was one of several contributing authors for the Zoe Life Publishing 2012 & 2013 Daily Devotional. She also writes a monthly inspirational message for her ministry website called “Glimpse of Glory.” As Chaplain of the California State Baptist Convention Women’s Department, Anita is responsible for writing an inspirational message for the Quarterly Newsletter.
