Shelah M. Snowden received a B.S. in Business Administration from San Francisco State University of San Francisco, CA. She seeks further academic study of a Master’s Degree in Public Administration thru California State East Bay of Hayward. CA. Among her many academic achievements, most notably and precious to her includes being an Honored Recipient of the Marcus Foster Scholastic Award issued thru the Oakland Unified School District.
Her esteemed occupational career includes gainful employment with the Department of Health & Human Services – Social Security Administration Benefits Authorizer, The Department of Defense – Oakland Army Base Accounting Technician and currently for the past 26 years with The Office of the Alameda County District Attorney – Oakland, CA where she progressively moved thru promotional ranks and diligently serves as Claims Unit Supervisor for the Victim/Witness Assistance Division thru the Stale of California – Victims Compensation Program. She is popularly known for her dedication and commitment to rendering quality service to all individuals and their families who tragically experience violent crimes. Her strong passion and genuine desire to ‘help those in need’ is a solid attribute of her professional character.
